Ancient Mesopotamia meaning the Sumer civilization. I'm doing a compare contrast essay on the two, and I know Egyptians considered animals sacred, but I can't find any info that Mesops did as well.

Some of the symbols used in the pagen religions in that area were animals so one might assume that for some reason the people thought they were special. I have no hard facts though. Sorry I couldnt be more help. Good luck on your essay.

Even though there is a lot of wisdom in the bible, it also had a political reason for being made. Jesus came from Egypt and he wasn't Christian. Both him and Moses practiced Egyptian Magick. For example, turning staffs into snakes and water into wine. This was Egyptian Magick. Even Jesus says in the bible "You can do this too." So yes, Jesus was more of a Witch than he was a Christian. If you really look for that truth in the bible, you'll find it. Christianity has very Pagan roots. But Jesus wasn't teaching Christianity in the bible. He was trying to teach something totally different. That's why he was crucified.
