Leslie Hunt Hairstyle?

I have black hair, and getting it blonde/red like Leslie hunt's from American Idol. Is it possible to duplicate her color from black?

Also, my hair goes to my shoulder, will it still look okay layered like hers and cut similarly?

You might have to bleach it out first. Don't do it too much, or you will fry your hair. The cut will depend on your face shape, but layers work for most people.
