If half the people that are here are a bunch of atheists that have no business answering half of the questions because they give negative answers to their questions.

Atheists, do we bombard your questions with useless crap like you do to us? The point is we don't want your stupid answers because we we aren't changing our religion just because of you.

Oh look, a few of them have already started to bash my question. What a surprise.

These discussion groups are open to everybody, or don't you believe in freedom of expression? Especially since the questions here are very relevant to the topic, either pro or con, and especially since a day doesn't go by when believers don't solicit atheist opinions - like you just did.

And if you're going to call out your opposition you will have to expect some disagreement, don't you think? Is that what you mean by "negative?" Negative doesn't always equal bad, by the way. We pay people to be negative about fire, crime, pollution and disease, and two influential documents which have had a large effect on the world and contain mostly negative statements are the Ten Commandments (both sets) and the Bill of Rights.

lol. You think this place shouold be full of people saying the same thing, and no one allowed to give an answer that's negative? Let's transport you to Nazi Germany where you'll be happier.

Anyone can answer, so be preapred, and by taking the responsability of having a religion you need to accept that there are those that don't agree with you, it's part of being in a society that allows freedom of expression. And we have as much right to answer a question in here as you do.

I have to agree about the negative answers but for those that give honest ones, I guess a LACK of spirituality is still a level of spirituality. Therefore, the ones givign REAL answers are just as important as those who give from any other non/religious point of view. There's some that would consider Wiccans as non-spiritual but for them it is quite spiritual just different from the Christian or Jewish woudl consider.
Again, though, the hateful answers really are getting to be crap.

I think the Religion and Spirituality category was designed for people to learn about one another's religions and their own religion. I don't believe it was ever designed to be a tool for people to bash one another's religions.

Unfortunately, many do use it exactly for that purpose. And not just atheists. I have seen Christians, pagans, Jews, Muslims AND atheists bashing on here. There are individuals in all groups that show intolerance for other belief systems.

You seem to have a basic misunderstanding here. This category's ABOUT Religion and Spirituality, not FOR the religious and spiritual.. Also Yahoo makes it clear
ANYONE may ask or answer questions in ANY category.

Just because some people are atheist, doesn't mean there shouldn't be a spirituality category. Many people don't have pets, but there is a pet category. More than half the users are probably not pregnant or parents, but they have that category. I really don't see what your point is.

In a way I can agree with you.
Yes they are negative.
Their answers are negative.
There is one that I've seen that is very good with the verses and Bible, that is not a believer.
She is very intelligent. But not a believer.

To your question:
I think that Atheism is a religion.
The religion of non belief in God.
I feel that they are here to aggravate and also learn.
You must realize that they read some of the answers given.
They see the Bible verses that are posted. The truth is being presented to them. In a fashion.
It also gives you the opportunity to confess Jesus before men. In that way He confesses you before the angels of God as He said He would. OLAY!

Everybody has the right to be here as everybody has something to say when it comes to the subject of religion. I find the subject of religion to be a fascinating and an interesting subject. Everybody can learn something from one another as well as teach something to one another. This is a forum to ask and answer questions about different things and religions period. This forum isn't meant to be used to try to convert or deconvert people to and from religion. Unfortunately there are people on both sides of the fence who misuse and abuse this forum.

Go look up the definition of religion -- which does *not* mandate a belief in a higher power -- and the definition of spirituality -- which does not either, and then post a question that has not been asked ad naseum by ignorant persons as yourself.

When you're alone and you speak to yourself, do you (like the Grinch) hear an echo that says, "You're an idiot?"

Seriously, this is an open public forum where anyone can ask a question. Atheists are spiritual people.. they just happen not to believe in a god.
