I currently run a mile in around 8:54 mins, and I need to run it in 8:00 min by June. I was told this yesterday.

What kinds of exercises, in addition to running, can help me improve? I'm not very good at running, but I need to get down to 8:00 mins. Anything you can give me will help. I will run more, but technically, I only need to get a better time once a week.

Try crunches and squats this will help tone your stomach muscles which is the core of the body and it needs to strong just like the other muscles if you want to get faster/stronger. The squats will help build your leg muscles.
