Last night I drank a full bottle of wine and about ten minutes later I threw up. It was my first time drinking. Is it normal to be light headed and feel like your going to throw up the next day? How long will this last? Should I tell my parents?

It is quite normal to feel those symptoms the next day after a sickening experience the night before. You dehydrated your body and you are feeling the affects of doing so the next day. Since this was your first time drinking, one glass probably would have been enough to get you floored, so drinking 4 times that amount would definitly do you in.

Do you remember when people always told you that its better to just jump right into a cold lake instead of going in inch by inch? That definitly does not apply to drinking alcohol. You need to ease yourself in, or else your going to have a bunch of bad experiences like this one. Try having one drink an hour, followed or accompanied by a glass of water next time. Get a feel for what your experiencing so you can gauge where you are in the future.

Hangovers last anywhere from a couple of hour to a couple of days, depending on how bad of a night you had. Drinking water throughout the night and before you go to bed will help. The best remedy is to not put yourself in that position in first place. Moderation is key to having a fun night, and easy morning.

As far as the telling your parents thing, that is up to you. I would tell them, but use it as an educational standpoint. Let them know the mistakeyou made, what you learned from it,and how you will deal with a similar situation in the future. This will be a testiment tto your maturity.

This is all based on the fact that you are of legal age to drink. If your not, I would wait until your 21 so your body is ready for the abuse.

Those symptoms are completely normal after a night of over-drinking. You should feel better after a day or so. If you're not mature enough to tell you parents, you shouldn't be drinking. Also, wine is one of the worst hangovers, so good luck with that.

A bottle of wine only equals about 4 glasses...not a biggie in my book. But factor in your first time drinking & you definately have barfing & a hangover. Perfectly normal. Especially since immature drinkers tend to be pretty stupid in their consumtion....A FULL BOTTLE OF WINE???? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING????? And don't tell your parents just yet. You'll soon have many things to give up to them if you keep that up...& I mean SOON!

Next time you get drunk have a glass of water in between each drink. It'll help prevent a hangover in the morning.

Just learn from your mistakes and drink lots of water. If you feel guilty, talk to your parents about it.

Wine is one of the finer things in life and should be enjoyed in moderation.

Wait till you are an adult. You could get alcohol poisoning and die. Don't be in a rush to drink alcohol

Sounds like you are a minor. Tell you parents and promise not to do it again.
