I have a pug/beagle mix that just got a Shed-X a few weeks ago. He has had a few of these treatments before and they work. They do not stop his shedding completely but it helps quite a bit. The last time I took him and after I picked him up he is shedding more than he did before we took him the last time. I called Kennelwood, where he has been getting the treatments, and they said he received the treatment but I seriously don't think he did. We can be playing for 2 minutes and my pants are covered in hair. Let me know if anyone knows anything about Shed-X treatments and if there are any other suggestions.

Why don't you just brush the dog...takes off all loose fur...

Just let him shed....

I have a lab and a newfoundland....I brush the Newfy once a day and the lab once a week.

If you don't want fur on you....get a Peruvia hairless.

Try finding Salmon Oil and add it to your dogs food. You can get it online im not sure if you can find it at a pet store. It helps with dry skin and stops them from shedding. It makes the coat very soft and nice. Also you might want to look into different dog food. Find something that has Omega 3 and other natural minerals and vitamins. As for any Shed-X treatments ive never used them, im not big on things like that, I like to go towards the natural route, and the Salmon Oil works wonders, it will take awhile but if you keep it up, it will get better.

This is the time of year when they start shedding their winter coat , plus the pugs always shed most all the time.

Get a shed-blade, it is not a brush but looks more like a saw blade that pulls off the dead coat. This tool works wonders on short haired dogs that are shedding their coats.

Sorry but your "PUGGLE"will shed and smell like a hound dog for ever. You will never stop it.No medication or shampoo will stop this.Maybe better nutrition will help some but it is the nature of the dog.Sorry sometimes the truth hurts.Good Luck!!!Don't waist your money on products that will NOT WORK.Good Luck you might vacum and brush frequently and that might help some but don't fall for a mircle.Love him anyway!!!I believe EUCANUBA is very good for the coat.
