While out shopping with my boyfriend of 8 months I pointed out some short shorts that I liked and he said he liked them too but only to wear in front of him. After we talked about it a little more he eventually said if i wore something like that he wouldn't take me out anywhere. I know he just doesn't want other guys staring at me but I don't want to keep myself covered all the time! When the time comes around to buy shorts or if it comes up again should I just tell him I'm going to wear what I want or should I just not wear any while out with him?

by not being covered i meant.. it gets hot here in summer and I'm not going to walk around in long pants and a sweater

It's love. Sometimes you have to bend the rules. He's not being controlling, just playing the part of a jealous lover. Maybe, the shorts you picked out are a little too short. Pick out shorts that are not too long but don't expose what only your boyfriend should see. What is this about you not wanting to keep yourself covered all the time, Respect your self. don't go flaunting what should not be shown. Listen to him, he may be right. God luck.

maybe its to short thats why he dont want it u to wear.. he meant that ur belongs to him and not for someone else.. but for my self if u already wear that kind of things before u meet him.. why would u chance ur outfit. just becoz of him..

You don't need to discuss with him your wardrobe. Where what you feel comfortable with. If he doesn't like it, then too bad. You should be able to judge for yourself what's appropriate for you. If you let him, it will get worse. Do Not let him control you. It will get worse and worse.

You should DO as you like and let NO one tell you different. If he has a problem with others looking at you, you should ask your self how much does he trust you.

u should b able to wear what u want ... i think u should sit him down and tell him that u dont like that he tries to tell u what to wear and hopefully he will b understanding .. let him kno u love him and dont care abt others looking at u =0)
