How does romantic love change into “just friends” love? is it even possible to go from loving someone in that way to loving them just as a friend?

This happens when u get bored of this person. most people dont stay friends after u tell them they r just a friend and nothing more.

It's possible. Because when you fall out of love w/someone, you wanna pretty much remain friends. And that's what they mean when they say, "I love you, but as a friend." I know you've heard that one.
