What is a "corrupted file",what are the causes,and how do i fix this?

copied mp3 to phone via BT,got message 'this file is corrupted'???.

I'm pretty sure you can't fix a corrupted file. It just means that part of the file is either missing (usually) or has been changed, so that it now doesn't compute! :-)

The only way to fix a corrupted file is to use your original disk to completely re-boot your computer. Hope you have a back up of everything somewhere. If you want fewer corrupted files and other problems, dump Microsoft and switch to a Linux operating system like Ubuntu.
