Okay so there is this guy, I'm friends with him. We talk almost every night. He's always very understanding and has always been there for me. One time we were joking around about this creepy kid who likes me and he told me he would protect me from him. This guy(not the creepy one) i always catch him staring at me and we always smile at eachother. We have tons of inside jokes. Everyone thinks he likes me, he even asked me to be his valentine (not official just for fun--neither us had Valentine's) He always hints about wanting to hang out with me but is to shy to ask. Do you think he likes me?

Of course he likes you, silly! He is just shy and reserved. That happens quite a lot with guys when they are serious about someone. Guys can be cavalier and easily joking with other girls, but the one they really like they don't act that way around. Because she means too much and is special to him. Listen, start hanging out with him more, touching him frequently, and he will respond. Try it and see! Good luck.
