She would do best with a neutered male 1-5 years old. Another staffie would be fine. Mostly you want to let he meet another dog on neutral territory first. Then acclimate him into your home. If you use a rescue they can offer the best suggestions for dogs with personality types they already know and they can advise you. Plus they can offer a different if the one you choose doesn't turn out to be the best fit for your dog. Good luck :)

The answer has to be another staffie :)
Get a nuetered male for her to play with.
Make sure you introdice on nuetral terroatory. Assuming your staff already gets along with other dogs you shouldnt have much of a problem.
If you want another one from a pup that will be ok but you will have to make sure one has been nutered or spayed when there older as it may cause dominance fights.
I have a 3 year old male staffie who is an only dog at the moment. Last november I lost my ***** staffie at 10 months old to pyo :(

Staffies are very playful!!! I have a staff x!!! Were do they get there energy!!!!!!!!!!! As long as your dog gets on with dogs in general you shouldn't have a problem finding him a play mate. You could get a puppy ,but alot of training again and they cant get abit jealous of the pup having alot of attention! You dont want to upset the the dog you have now. What I would say is, have you thought about getting a dog from a shelter, maybe 2yrs upwards , they will already house trained, and the have been monitored to see what there tempremant is like!!
They will let you know if it is good with other dogs and people etc.
You can also take your dog along so you can see what they are like together befor you buy!! You dont want to by a dog and find out when you take it home they dont get on at all!!!!
Good luck with finding a a play mate for her I thinks a great idea!!!

Not sure that another dog would necessarily be the answer- is she sociable when out with other dogs?
However if you do decide to get her a playmate I would not recommend another dog of the same sex in this breed as there are often serious issues over hierarchy when two staffies of the same sex are kept together. Boy/Girl combinations usually work much better.

The only type of dog that I would not recommend is another terrier breed. AmStaffs are terriers and terrier tend not get along with each. They are territorial and another territorial dog doesn't make for a happy family.
Your best bet is to find a easy going breed with lots of energy. Make sure it is a puppy and introduce the dogs in a neutral location. Make sure to have the dogs meet before you agree to any dog to ensure that personalities aren't in conflict. When you first bring the pup home take them out for a walk before bringing the new dog in to the house.
Good luck

We have a Stafford and spent alot of time deciding what breed to have along with him. We chose a German shepherd b***h, They are great together and she is strong enough to cope with his boisterous playing. You do need alot of room for this combination.
My family breed Stafford's, they do like each others company, because they are so vocal when playing there's no confusing it for real aggression with 2 Stafford's. Avoid boxers and spaniels Stafford's don't like there madness. Please approach a Stafford re-homing centre if you do go that way, did you know the highest breed of dog taken into Battersea dogs home annually is the Stafford and there are many puppies available there. Good luck,
