I don't have a boyfriend yet, and the guy I like doesn't even like me, but do you think that it's worth my time to try and get a boyfriend? Or should I just worry about my schoolwork, friends, and family?

in my High School having a boyfriend is like a trend,
everyone is so caught up into it. Even trying to steal other people's boyfriends and trying to ruin relationships.
Some boys in high school are such idiots, They know they have a girlfriend, but yet try to get other girls.
That is just what i see everyday at my school, i clear far away from the whole ''boyfriend'' thing i dont make too much of it.
Worring about the schoolwork, friends and family is far more important during these years than a boyfriend.
Theres more life to live, he would come someday!

When we are at a young age its not recommended to have a relationship with someone. You are young and don't have control over many things... you are ruled by your parents... they decide what to do for you. Imagine if you have a boy friend and then your parents decide to move or change you of school... what is going to happen? You and the person you love are going to suffer, and all of the thing you did with him are ruined... you dont have control over this... and having a boy friend take a lot of your time... and you can get behind in school and things of such matter... wait until you get older and you are well stablished... at this time of your life you don't need a boy friend... you need friends as anyone else but not a boy friend.. believe me many things can happen you can get pregnat and many more things... this is a stage in the life of humans where hormon develop and well you know one has no control over somethings that our body does trough.... thats is why having a boy friend in high school its not recommended... any more questions feel free to e-mail me... Not in high school. Too many people think it is important to date in high school. Don't worry. I am 18 and I have never had a boyfriend. I am not ugly; actually I am quite pretty. I am shy though but that doesn't get me down.
There is always university to meet someone. I am waiting til then. Guys at my school never pay attention to me anyway.

Its not a big deal to have a bf in high school but its a good experience from there you can learn about what you want in a guy and how you wanted to be treated its a good learning experience but its not everything. You can have it all you can get good grades in school and still have a boyfriend its only what you make of it.

Guys will come and guys will go. It's when you're not searching for a boyfriend that one will fall into your lap. Just cuz you like a guy doesn't mean that he's the one for you. Sometimes it's best to just start out as friends and see what progresses from there. You never know. They say that when you find your life mate it usually is your best friend too. (mine is)

it matter if you can keep a boyfriend, AND get good grades in high school,, if you can't do that then ditch the boyfriend nd just worry about schoolwork

Do whatever makes u happy. If being single and consentrating on school makes u happy than go for it. But if having a boyfriend in high school makes u happy than go for that too. I had a boyfriend in high school. and i dont regret it. We aren't together anymore but i think it made me smarter as far as dating goes.

well i TOTALLY see where your coming from. im n the 10 grade and the guy i like has a gf. i like being single until something happens. it really depends if u dont like being single you should try something with this guy get him to notice you. do something bold, if your shy come out fo that shell guys like that. but if u dont mind being single then just go with the flow, personally i think its better bc u can flirt with a whole bunch of guys and that also might get your crush to notice you...good luck girl

ur still in high school u dont have to be worry about bf right now..time will come u will have lot of suitors and if that time come u will think that iam crazy now left and right guys look at me and want me.. if iam on u i would wait till its come alone.ur still young. better to study first for ur future..

If having a boyfriend won't stop or cause you to have problems in studing and do your home work then go for it. but to tell the truth you are still young and should be just consintrating on your school work. but that is my opionion. follow what your heart is telling you. and do good in school. good luck.
