how to dry chilies?

I have excess chillies I'd like to dry for storage

Take a needle and thread, string them together through the thick part of the stem. Hang the string of chiles to dry so air circulates around them and they're not smothering each other. They'll dry out just fine that way.

well in india they dry it in the sun, you could do that or heat them so it dries
