Kneeling kickbacks are really good for the butt and back of the legs (kneel on all fours, lift one leg up, kick it out slowly, pull it in, repeat for 3 sets of 12 on each side). For the front, side and inner, lay on your back, lift one leg straight up, and circle it clockwise and counter-clockwise, then repeat with the other. Of course, if the problem is that you have an injury that prevents you from doing squats and lunges, you should probably consult a trainer or a physiotherapist to make sure that these exercises won't damage you.

Hmm, I actually use the Zumba for my weight loss, but it would be hard to explain,

here go to zumba.com,
its basically a dancing kind of work out to loose weight, and there is one video specifically on thighs, abs, and buns.
which is a blast to do! FUN!

try climbing stairs-one at a time, two at a time. these r quite helpful
