I read a very interesting article and it basically said that even when Jesus was in the dessert the first thing the Devil said to him was "IF you are the son of God...." Not "SINCE you are the son of God" He tries to get us to doubt who we are so my question is, Do you Know who you are as a Christian?

Yes. In the garden of Eden he used the question "has God said?" trying to get Eve to doubt what God had said and her understanding of what God said. satan always uses doubt to ensnare. If he can steal the Word of God from your heart and Spirit, then he has accomplished his goal. Give satan a black eye and tell him to get under your feet, you know who God is and who you are in God, and the Word of God ABIDES in you and forever! God Bless!

The answer you are looking for is not what the adversary said to Jesus, but what the adversary says to us today. You will find this not in the Gospels but in the Epistles. Basically you are the sons/daughters of God, coheir with Jesus (Christ Jesus) and the adversary has no hold on you. This is the answer to your first question.

As for your second question, the answer is the same as the first. As a Christian (follower of Christ, Lord and Savior), you are the sons/daughters of God, coheir with Christ Jesus. This is where you and I are.

ROTFLMAO. I know it wasn't intentional, but I must confess that some of the answers to this question made me laugh hysterically. I mean do you people HONESTLY think if there WAS a devil that he'd actually give a crap about any of you? You're small potatoes, the devil would be too busy grooming the next Hitler for his hostile takeover or having the next Martin Luther King jr. assassinated. Who the hell do you think you are, Gandhi? You people have seriously inflated egos, and they just keep getting bigger.

Yes I do, and so does the devil. That is why he and his little imps are always attacking me and my family, they are scared, and want to stop me before I lead more people to Jesus.

The Devil was the first being that gave humans knowledge according to the bible. If that's true, then I am thankful for him teaching us about good and evil.

Satan's favorite tactic is to appeal to your pride. 'My, but you're one of the most intelligent humans I've ever met' 'If you eat this fruit, you can be as gods' 'Prove to me that You are the Son of God.' He's got a million of 'em!

I know I am not a Christian. I don't read the Bible, having left fairy tales behind when I grew up.

He gave me an evil wink.
He stared at me and I felt a change -- time meant nothing, never would again!
