You can get this information by going to "Mapquest".
Hint: Top off your gas tank in Mojave, so you can safely reach Bishop, where you should top off again. The gas is cheaper there than in the little one gas station towns in between.
Hint: You will be traveling over lots of open high desert and you may be encouraged to greatly exceed the speed limit. The CHP knows that, and that's exactly where they will be 'hiding" Don't exceed 70 and you should be OK.
