Many"profess" Christians have read in the bible how JEHOVAH(God's name according to Ps83:18) feels about spiritism and spiritistic practices.HE specifically said for his people to abstain from anything dealing with spiristic practices. Leviticus20:6,7 says"And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards,to go a whoring after them , I will even set my face against that soul,and will cut him off among his people, Sanctify yourselfs therefore,and do them:I am the Lord your God.(according to d KJV) So a wizard is one who is a professional forteller,so why do so many read horoscope.At my school, if d student don't get there horoscope, they'll go crazy.Many often disown this scripture by looking at man to help tell them know how their day will be like.Rather Jehovah tells the whole mankind wat is held out for those who obey him and know him(JOHN17:3),(PS:37:9,10,11).So why do u read horoscopes and after look'd at d scriptures here,do u tink its rite 2read it?

Since Scripture clearly forbids such practices,
a true child of God will seek to be obedient.

Because they don't know any better or they are not Christians.
If you know the word, you will not participate is such a thing.
You would have read the bible and known that it is not something to do.
And when they were building the tower of Babel, what do you think that was?
It was a zigurat, a place made to study horoscopes.

I agree with you. Horoscopes are wrong. Jehovah is not pleased with such practices. I don't read them. I really don't know why anyone would want to read such nonsense. But you are right , people who read such stuff are professed christians. Because true christians would not do that.Oh, I'm not a JW, just study with them.That is how I learned God's name.

A person who professes Christ, and reads horoscopes is a bit oxymoronic isn't it.
In fact that person is definitely in rebellion against God's will.
They have been fooled into thinking it harmless entertainment, but little do they realize that they have opened the door to some serious satanic influence.

It's a personality trait, Some people are just in to mythology and superstition. Or things that cannot be proved or disproved. It is a way of avoiding reality. And placing the responsibility of life on something other then themselves.

I personally look at them for amusement, as I can't believe people put so much stock into them. That is ridiculous, horoscopes are so generic, they can be twisted to fit anything.
Just because a Christian reads horoscopes it doesnt mean they live their life by it.

It's the human in them, they need to see what the horoscope says. I read them from time to time... and laugh. It's when you feed off those false readings that harm your spirit within. If you are solid in God you will not fall for things like this. For the scripture tells us "...nothing will harm you."
