Yes,in NH i had an ATV stolen and taken for a joy ride.The thief abandoned it when it ran out of gas.We recovered it(Thank goodness)with some damage.Not only did the idiot get 3-7 YEARS in state prison for grand theft he must pay restitution with his license plate shop earnings.The cost of a tank of gas is included in his money owed.

Hello Allstate? Somebody took my tank of gas! It was brand new just a week ago.

Your auto policy generally doesn't cover personal property inside your vehicle (this includes your gasoline).
