Well, "average" actually depends on a lot of factors - especially where you live and what you eat. In the US, I think 5'4" is considered "average" for an adult woman, but ethnicity also effects that. Of course, in the US being shorter is an advantage for women - as US men consider that trait "cute". But some other cultures consider it a disadvantage. As they say, it's all in the eye of the beholder :) (also, I've read that generally, smaller people live longer)

Actually, that's about normal. It might be considerred short, but not by much. Don't worry about it!
