I am perplexed, I keep dreaming about my ex/ who was a good friend I lost touch with at least its been 4 years.. I am happily married and with being newlyweds and all I lost touch now for the last year he won't get out of my dreams. I don't think about him either during my waking hours. what does that mean?

Usually a dream about an ex love represents an unconscious consuming interest in something (you have to figure out what that something is). An area of your life is probably in need of attention. Maybe you're not feeling as close to your husband - or your being cautious in not totally opening up to him because you're a newlywed? Or you may just need to strengthen a friendship with a current gal friend (or find a gal friend). Hang in there and do not contact the ol' boyfriend. That is not what this deram is trying to tell you to do. :-)

I can sympathize. I still dream about the guy I was in love with before I was married - and I've been married 5 years. It can be ver unsettling. There just isn't all that much you can do. I don't think there is a deep hidden meaning. Perhaps you are curious and wonder what could have been. That's natural. Trust me, the dreams become fewer and farther between as time goes by. Don't let it change the relationship you have with your hub. I would not suggest looking up the old flame. If there was a lot of chemistry between the two of you, it could re-ignite and remember! Chemistry does not = love.

It is best to put your ex to rest as it were. Try and do something special with your husband and talk to him about what is disturbing in your drreams. From time to time our old haunts try to come back in our lifes if we allow them to . Don't let your dreams over take your waking hoours. Try working out the problems or other things that come in between you and your husband. Many times things are not so good in our marriage and it is always easy to go back and think about the good times we had before. We would not have broke it off with our ex and married if it was a better time so lets think about the one were with and enjoy something new with your husband. God bless and i'll be praying God stops the dreams of the past.
