Why more christians are converting to Islam in Europe? Especially in Germany.?

There has been a huge increase in converts after 911, why is this happening?

More information, there was an article on CNN about this and I have also read in some European magazines

First, look at the numbers of Muslims in Europe compared to the rest of the population. You will find the 1 out of 20 are Muslim. In Germany, 3 out of 100 are Muslim.

As for converts after 911, your huge number of converts is really very small. The conversion numbers deal with the children of Muslim immigrants.

Let me know when you have some unbiased "facts".

Because people are looking into Islam for themselves and seeing that it is not how the media portray it. That it is a peaceful and loving religion and the true path. It has not happened to increase since 9/11 it has been increasing in the number of followers since day one. You are just more aware of it since 9/11. Muhammad Ali converted in the 60's, Cat Stevens in the 70's Islam is nothing new.

Why do most people think that all of the Muslims around the world were behind the 9/11 attacks?? It was only Binladen and his followers, this does not mean that all of the Muslims were behind the 9/11 attacks. Also I see many people here offending Islam badly and they don't even know what Islam is. Learn about Islam, know what is the meaning of the word Islam itself, an educate yourself about Islam.

The people that converted to Islam are not stupid like what you people think. In fact they studied about Islam and they knew more about Islam and then they were convinced how Islam was really great like that. Please stop hating Islam for Allah (God) doesn't like who judges people and they don't know them well.

After when you know everything about Islam you will all regret what you have said about the majesty of the Islamic religion, for Allah forgives who regrets about something that he did was wrong.

Christians are not abandoning Jesus, the Son of the real God of the Bible, for the fake pagan moon god allah in anywhere near the numbers you seem to believe they are. What you have read is just another muslim lie. Muslims are taught to lie to "infidels" any time muslims think lying will help spread the disease called islam, and since 9/11 they have thrown their lying propaganda machine into overdrive.
CNN is not an impartial news organization. They hate President Bush and Christianity, and, like certain other western liberal "news" outlets, they will help muslims lie when the lie makes Bush or Christianity look bad.
In this case they achieve both of their goals so they are ecstatic when muslims give them lies they can repeat hoping it will erode support for Bush in his defense of civilization from the islamofascist assualt we see all around the world.

Because of the increase in interest in Islam, I would think. Even bad publicity is publicity. Some people will look into Islam seriously to find out what all the fuss is about and find out that the people are just people, and the doctrines answer some of the glaring issues that any logically thinking person will have with Christianity.

Because after that 911 incident, Islam was highlighted as a religion that like to do a war...What was happening was quite pathetic..Because of small group of Muslims that do the terrorist thing the whole Islam was affected...It was not fair..

Then the people whose convert to Islam realised there was something interesting about this religion...Base on the logic fact, there was no religion who encouraged its adherend to do a war or make a mess to other people..

They begun to study about Islam to find out and analyse whether it was good or bad religion...Everything have to do with the terrorist, inevitably Islam will be related to that events...In the end those who converting to Islam find it was just a rumour about Islam...They find a truth that only theirselves can see...

After September 11th, a lot of people started to try and understand Islam.

While there have been converts, most of the Islam population has relocated to Europe and had children. The figures given by many of the leaders from Islam are propaganda to try to fuel their importance in the eyes of outsiders.

It reminds me of them trying to be the "in crowd" popular, sophisticated, etc. Sort of like a school mentality where everyone wants to fit in.

Well, after 911, Islam were suspected to be the ones who caused it. And people are (until now) trying to know what is this Islam teaching to their people. Some of them, Germans, find Islam to be far more better religion than Christian and find terrorists comes from the people not from the religion. So there you go, am I correct?

People look into more about ISLAM after events like Sept 11th , they become curious and try to understand but get attached to Islam because its has such peace and tolerance, you have to study the the Koran and ISLAM as a whole to understand this, there r ppl who r jeleous, insecure and weak minded and therefore reject this idea, Islam is the fastest growin relgion in the world, Hitler said he respect Islam because Islam fobids bad things like sins, occupations, etc, thats what i heard.
