what is the software i need to download and is it free.

Did you install the software and driver for your scanner? If you dont have the driver, you can download it from the scanner mfg website.

The scanner came with a disk, or at least, it should have. This is an operations disk. You have to have the programs on your computer that will allow the scanner to send data to the computer, and have it interpreted correctly. You might be able to download it, but this doesn't always work. If you DID add the correct software but it still isn't working, try using the Add?Remove Hardware function in the control panel--remove the scanner, then add it again. Finally, it could be that the software is out-of-date and needs an upated driver, which should be available for free from the manufacturer.

All scanners come with drivers and software to allow the image to be saved. Go to the manufacturer's website and look for it. It is downloadable for free.

Go to the scanner manufacturer's website and search for the correct drivers for your model. Download and install them and reboot your PC. Then you should be able to use your scanner.

It should have come with your scanner. If you don't have it you can try to download it from the manufacturers website.

you dont need any,
open my compter and find the scanner right click on it and select scan. If the driver is installed than WinDOS will scan the image for you!

I certainly have mine setup to do incredibly some issues as quickly as I do incredibly some issues. as quickly as I test a image it is going to my p.c.. folder right into a test folder whilst do something else I certainly have it do something else. it is all interior the concepts
