Some pet companies, like PetSmart, make bottles of sprays that are flavored like garlic or sour apple, which dogs hate. The spray is usually odorless, yet effective. If you don,t feel like going to the store, then just juice some apples or garlic.

BUy him a chew toy actually a few chew toys and leave them all over the house, so if it look slike he wants to go chew on the phone line, just thorw a toy his way to distract him or you can tape teh whole phone line down with duct tape or clear tape adn he wont be able to get an inch to put in his mouth, but puppies usually do chew through a million things before they get to teh point where they focus on other things so just try to leave some fun chew toys around for him, take him with yo to the store to pick them out and the ones that he shows the most interest in are the ones you shoudl think about getting!

Rub some Tabasco sauce on the cord.
Wrap the cord up, wrap it with plastic, and tack it high enough away from the puppy.
When you find the puppy doing wrong, grab him by the scruff of his neck and shake him (not too hard), and say NO! Often , in the wild, a mother canine will grab her pups by the scruff of the neck or nip their noses to teach them a lesson.
Give him plenty of other things to chew on. Do not use old socks or shoes or worn out items, as this will encourage him to chew on newer examples of these items. Buy him plenty of chew toys, pig's ears, anything that will help him chew all he wants without destroying your property. When he heads for the cord or anything else, direct his attention back to his "property."
Some dogs will continue chewing on things for up to two years. They do this during teething, just like any other animal. Once all your puppy's permanent teeth have come in, he won't be so inclined to chew, chew, chew.

When the puppy chews on the phone line...remove the phone line from its mouth and insert a bone or chew toy.

It will learn eventually.

If its doing damage just take the phone line and drape it over the phone so it's out of the puppy's reach.

Keep an eye on the puppy and redirect it to something it is allowed to chew.Probably be a good idea to put something in front of or around the line to block the line when you are not around to supervise. Some people use Bitter Apple spray to deter chewing also.

Is this the only things that he chew or he chew others as well.

One of the simplest way is to remove your phone line out of his reach. and give him a few toys for him to play with.

Take him for a walk or exercise, it definitely helps a lot.

If he chew other things in the house, you should then puppy proof your home.

How can you do that, you can take a look at an article I wrote at

It will help you. Of course for a long term solution Training your puppy is definitely neccessary.

go to Lowe's. In electrical, (ours is like aisle 11,but some differ. Just ask an associate.) there are tracks that are either metal or plastic. You can run the cord in it instead of leaving it out where your dog can chew on it.

there one type but you can get lots of different types and even a dispenser that has a time on and will release a kong every-so-often
just make sure you get the right size for your dog as they come in different sizes

In any given situation, focus on what you do want your dog to do instead of on whatever he’s doing wrong. Learn how to train your dog https://tr.im/am6Cw

For example, suppose that on many evenings, your young dog gets busy looking for trouble just as you’re digesting your dinner. He grabs a boot from the mat by the front door and gallops through the house with it. You yell at him and take it away. He grabs its mate. You yell and take it away. He heads for the kitchen and starts checking out the counters in case something tasty’s been left behind. You chase him away. And on and on, until you’ve lost your temper and torn out clumps of hair you can ill afford to lose.
