I have a little brother and I babysit him everyday. For about 5 hours. Or until my parents come home. I only get a break on Sundays. He only likes to play videgames, but I want to get him more active. He is in 1st grade. Please give me some ideas!!

Take him outside. When it gets warmer, take him to the pool. Read to him. Let him paint a picture. Play a board game. Have a obstacle race with him. Let him have a friend over so they can play together. Cook something with him. Have him draw a picture.

Bundle his little butt up and take him outside to build a snow man. Have fun with it, when you bring him back in doors make cocoa and play a board game with him. Grab some blankets and build a fort in the living room. Get some construction paper, color book and crayons. You are a good big sister....Enjoy your brother right now and have fun, he will remember these times. I live in OHIO too and it is very cold........But not snowing!

Depends on your climate, but get him outside if possible to play ball or somehing. If you live where there is snow, there is always sliding. My 5-year old loves to sit in front f the TV all day and she would if I let her. If you live near a park go there and play. Kid usually love to play outside, it is usually the getting them there that is the problem. Usually once you get them moving they love it. Good luck
