The Crusades were in response to The Violent Expansionism of Islam. Christianity was Defending itself. I believe we must be prepared to continue Defending ourselves with all the Weapons in out Nations Arsenal.

That said, a Christian's Weapons are not Physical, but Spiritual. A Spiritual Crusade in a great Idea. Get People Praying for a Spiritual Awakening in Islamic Countries, That God would raise up Men of God Full of The Holy Spirit and Wisdom, and The Spirit of Prophecy to stand and Say,"Thus Saith The LORD !"

Absolutely. Rienhardt Bonke was in Nigeria not to long ago. And Billy Graham had on recently.

You know it's kind of funny most people think Crusade means war...I guess for the fellows mentioned above it's a Spiritual War. And it's evangelistic enough to make the non-believers mad. Especially if there are lots of believers.

There was a crusade in Africa recently involving two million at one time singing and praising God. In the past six years more Muslims have become Christians, an estimated 36 million, than at any time in recorded history. Maybe you are missing the Crusade?

Now here is a word for you from a minor prophet. ...Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit saith the Lord of hosts...
The battle is by the hand of God, not ours. It is not our timing, it is not our preference and it is not our opinion. You stand, friend, in danger of being caught up in your own mind.

Certainly the battle is in the mind, but victory is in the heart.

I think maybe to should re-term your evangelizing event. Look up how Crusade is defined in history, and you will see what I mean.

As an atheist, I am terrified of the day (if it ever comes, which is always a distinct possibility) when fundamentalist Christians think Jesus has arrived for the second coming.

Many believe it could be any day now...

No we do not all think so! Do you think at all? You are asking our "opinion". Well, opinion is the result of a choice. Does a crusade helps the choice factor.

Do you think it is "Christian" to want to anger and hurt people? The only Crusade that is needed is to get the fanatics to stop worrying about what everyone else believes and live their own lives, worship their own way, and let others believe as they will.

I agree....it's time for a crusade....

I'm going to start by leaving copies of Origin of Species and Porn outside of Churches after youth group meetings.

God didn't raise war machines. Abandon the Atheist attack and stick to living life for Him.
