I had a weird thing happen with a refund from a doctor's visit about 20 years ago. I was in college.
I went to the doctor for a regular annual check up and got a Depo Injection for birth control to be followed up 3 months later.
The only side effect was a total loss of libido for a total of three months.
So when I went back they asked me how the injection worked and if I was ready for another one. I told them I guessed it was very effective as a birth control because I did not feel like having sex for three months, is that how it was supposed to work?
They said, no, no, we are not giving you that injection again because you are obviouslly not a good candidate for it. We switched birth control.
I thought that was the end of it and went home.
That week I received a check in the mail from the clinic for about 60 dollars which I cashed.
end of story.
Why am I telling you this story? I don't know, because anything can happen? I was not looking for a refund when I went back for the follow up those three months later. I just thought they might be interested to hear how the drug they gave me affected me.

I went to a few doctors over a few months while I was very ill and lost 2 part-time jobs as a result.
I was misdiagnosed several times. Asked why I had a psychological "need" to be sick, told I was a hypocondriac, etc, etc.
I was finally diagnosed with Toxoplasmosis. It was so bad, it still shows up in blood tests even after over 20 years. I never even received an apology.
Good Luck.

Well, if someone goes to the doctor and the doctor can't stay focused on what you are explaining to them without checking a cell phone, writing stuff down, nodding and saying "Mmmhmmmm" and other odd things...along with clowning around with other works...doesn't that make the doctor A.D.D. too?? Seeing as how they can't seem to stay still for very long.

i think you should freaking sue because they wasted your time and your money lol i dont think they would even think about giving you a refund that just the bottom line docs are like bootlegers no refund just final sale but in your case final diagnose

It would be appropriate for them to laugh at you if you tried.
They still spent their time examining you and whatever expenses on the tests.
Unless they offer some sort of guarantee, you're out of luck.

I think it will be hard for you to get refund. Doctor only compensate when they their mistakes take away your life without your permission.

Doctors are not miracle workers. They do make mistakes. You take that assumption by going and seeing the physician. If he did any sort of a procedure, you signed off all your rights in the consent.

yeah, in the parlance of the medical establishment, a refund is called a lawsuit. sue them! they get paid big bucks. and that comes with big responsibility. it's not like you ordered a cheeseburger and got a BLT. this is your life we're talking about.

I don't know about getting your money back, since they DID treat you, however ineffectively. I sure would contact all of them and let them know they aren't as smart as they think!!
