Farmer A says "If you sell me one of your sheep I will have twice as many as you".
Farmer B says "No, If you sell me one of your sheep we will have the same number".

Tut-tut shame on you all! Farmer A has 7 sheep and farmer B has 5. If farmer A buys one sheep from farmer B, this would give him 8 sheep and farmer B will now only have 4. So he will have twice as many. On the other hand, if farmer A sells one sheep to farmer B, farmer A will have 6 sheep (7-1) and farmer B will also have 6 sheep (5+1).

Oh what it's like to be clever. (I don't get out much).
