Please be real. Don't say what u think is acceptable.
When u meet someone of course u automatically notice skin complexion. U notice skin complexion regardless of who u talk to. However do u have different ideas of people just because of that? Do u feel like dating someone who is lighter or darker than u is out of the question? What about just being friends? Is it more acceptable to date someone who is lighter/darker than u as long as both of u share what society calls "race."(for example: is it more acceptable for a light complexioned latina woman to date a darker complexioned latino man than it would be for her to date a "black" man -OR- for a white man to date a white woman instead of a light complexioned black woman?). What r your thoughts & experiences.

Not because your color is lighter or darker than the opposite sex does not mean that she/he is different. Unless he/she is an animal.

My bf before is lighter in color than me. I'm tan and his white. People who sees us call us coffee and milk.

But my bf said , I'm whiter inside than him and he loves me for that.

Skin color is not the measurement for love. What matters is that your good iside.

The answer lies with you is what ever your heart tells you. I mean everyone will have their own opinion of what they think is acceptable in today's society. It shouldn't matter what others think though. It is up to you and how you feel. I mean who are you are attracted to skin color wise? Are you attracted to white girls, black girls,Latina girls? Who ever it is you seem to be into is who you should try to be with. Some people have a problem when they see a white man date a black girl or what ever and that is their deal. It doesn't mean it is wrong. We live in America where you have the freedom to be with who you choose. Whether were talking friendship or more it's about free choice. So go and make your decisions based on your wants and happiness. No one Else's. Good luck!

True beauty knows no color. I am attracted to women of all races. And I have found that race really isn't important. I don't judge people until I've had an opportunity to talk to them and get to know them. Now if the girl is of a different culture and there are lifestyle differences or a language barrier, that will be a problem. But if we can communicate and accept each other for we are, race is a non-factor. I know some people look twice and disapprove of interracial relationships, but I really don't care what people think anyway.

Hi, well I am Mexican and I am not the stereotype of the latin women, you know brunette, black hair and eyes and all that but I am very white with brown hair and eyes and I just like black men but in Mexico I can't find them so I use internet to meet them, anyway last year I knew a black man, he is a basket ball player and I like him, so I got a lot of pictures with him and he kissed me some times and people never looked at us in a weird mood like saying "oh is black and she is white, and they are together" or somethings like that. In fact I think people supported us.
I know if I get the chance to get married I am going to do it with a black man and I want to have black kids.

It is acceptable to date or marry whoever you want!! We are just the same on the inside, there is no reason to worry about what's on the outside! Yes, you notice it, but you can either dwell on it and decide it's a problem or you can say, 'that's neat,' and move to what matters on the inside. Compatability is not measured in skin tone. This is not 1957 anymore, it is acceptable to date whomever you feel attracted to.

This remindes me of this song "Brother Louie" by The Stories. It's about a white guy in love with a black woman. Hey, listen to it man, but really it doesn't matter weather your black or white. Listen to the song.

There is nothing wrong at all about dating other people who are black or white. Also there is nothing wrong with dating other people who are from other nationalities and cultures.
