I usually just jog for 25 minutes straight... but I've heard about things like warming up, and cooling down. Is there a more efficient way I can burn calories while jogging?

Your body will burn more calories if your metabolism is faster. The easiest way to speed up your metabolism is to get adequate rest, eat the right amounts of fruits and veggies and build muscle. Muscle will allow your body to burn more calories during rest, regular daily life and exercise. To burn more fat during aerobic exercise, stay below 70% max heart rate (220 - your age.) Any heart rate above this uses up more available oxygen for breathing and causes the body to burn all available carbs (sugars) and proteins (muscle stores) first and fat last.

Wearing warmer clothes while jogging will produce more sweat, which will speed up your internal temperature also increasing your metabolism. Which will burn much more calories. BUt be careful, make sure you stay well hydrated

should stretch before you do any excercise...warm up the muscle...try getting those weights that you put on your wrists and ankles...
