No, as both positives are the exact same connection. Same for the negatives as well.

All they do is allow the connection for another sub as another way to wire in parallel.

Just be aware that connecting another sub changes the load on the amp which also changes the output power.

I'm not familiar with rockford's latest amps, and since you didn't say which amp you have then I can't help you much more than to tell you to look in the manual. It will have wiring diagrams.
If you do not have the manual, then go to http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/rftech.asp
and you should be able to find the right wiring diagrams for your amp or be able to talk to a technical support pro.

If you have 2 sets of + and - terminals on the amp, then you have a 2-channel amp ;) .

you could do either. if the amp has 2 sets of (+) and 2 sets of(-) then you could hook up 2 subs to the amp, one to the left side and one to the right side. If you choose to use one sub and only use one set then you could, but it would give you a left or right side sound only, depending on what side you hooked it up on.If you choose to "bridge" the amp then you would hook up one sub to the amp. Connecting the (+) from the left side and the (-) from the right side of the amp to the (+)RED and the (-)BLACK of that on sub.

hope that helps.

Keep your positives lined up. Don't cross them. The ohms will drop as you spit it down.
