everyone has this problem, and everyone can offer advice, until it's themselves in the hot seat.
so...my best friend, who happens to be a guy...i fear i'm falling for...fast....But he happens to be quite popular with the ladies, and has a few already fighting for him. We tell each other everything, and I feel as though he's perfect...Everyone already assumes that were dating, but we're both to shy to confront each other about it..awkward huh? what should i do?

thanks.....

well the answer is simple. Talk to him. I understand your shy but you have to talk to him about your feelings and question him about his. If you don't you will end up seeing one of those girls you mentioned on his arm instead of you. You know what they say? The early bird catches the worm. If you want to be with your friend romantically then find a way to let him know it. At least then you will know for sure how he feels and you won't have to keep wondering about it. Good luck!

some people say that relationships work better if you've been friends first, you don't know exactly how he feels about you so why not tell him? If don't want to tell him because it will "ruin" the friendship, well thats a hard one! If you guys are that good of friends and you end up telling him then it should be water under the bridge if he unfortunatly doesn't feel the same way.

Good luck.

Two things, keep it at the best friend level. My daughter ended up dating her best friend and it didn't work out (as it rarely does). Now she hurts even more because she lost her love and her best friend all at once. If you go furthur with this and you already know that he is a "chick magnet", then you are going to feel very insecure about this relationship and constantly be questioning his every move. Best friends always make it longer than lovers. Please think about it, would you rather a friend for life or a short time love affair and the loss of a very good friend?

is hard to start a relationship with a best friend. question is do you know if he likes you too? or is that you too have much to talk about, just CLOSE FRIENDS and not yet to the stage of dating? I am sorry, am facing the same problem at the moment, what's worst to me is that we are in 2 different places, can't talk that much.

It would be better to find out what he is thinking before any action. Good luck! He could be the one for you :) Who knows.

Girls gone crazy for the sharp dress man! Well you and him should get together somewhere prvaite like each other's house, or in a tree house, or somewhere they can't find y'all. Then talk about what y'all like about each other. Get to know each other and deterimen if y'all like each other, if so, concrats, if not, y'all can still be friends.

if you tell each other everything why is telling your true feelings any different?? i understand the fear factor is confronting him and once you have you'll feel 100% better and if he doesnt respect you well enough then that explains what kind of guy he is.

you have 2 choices...

either dont say anything and watch on the sidelines while some other girl gets your man

or tell him how you feel and possibly be in a relationship with someone you know is wonderful

it really is that simple

Best thing to do, and I AM speaking from experience, is during one of your "talks" just mention the fact that you like him and ask him if he would consider dating you. Worst he can say is no.

Take it to your grave, men and women can only be friends as long as there is no sexual contact.
