First make up your mind that you want to quit. Ask your self why you want to quit. then make a list of the good and bad about smoking marijuana. You must have the desire to quit like the desire you had to start. Make new friends that don't smoke. I quit when my girlfriend told me to quit or she would leave me. So i quit because i love her much more than smoking that wacky weed. Get help from good friends or thase at a good church that will listen and give advice and support. I will pray for you at 9 pm every night

Why would you want to quit? Weed doesn't even do anything to you, except get you high. It does not hurt any part of you. Now the decisions that you make while you are high, are sometimes regrettable, but other than that, there is nothing wrong with maryjane. If you need to get a job or something like that, then you should just hold off for a little while. Weed is really not that addictive. If you are so bad, that you really think that you need help, get some. The best help is from family and friends.

25-30 yrs ago, I didn't think I could ever socialize or converse without being stoned. I hadn't done it in15 years. What could I possibly have in common with people who didn't smoke? But, little by little I eased out of it, then I just didn't look for it. Before I knew it I realized I COULD socialize , I COULD go on my daily activities in a clean and normal way. Looking back, I was in such cloud. Yeah, it was fun but come on, even though I felt I could go 'deep' in conversations with other tokers, I know I looked like such an airhead and actually I felt like that to! ANYway, I can now say I haven't smoked in more than half my life , and I don't miss it at all! By the way, I am not a pill popper or a drinker, but I do have an occasional Margarita or shot of Tequila about 3 times a year.

its about figthing spirit.think about how much you have to save if you give it up.those you are saving in a year could buy you something very useful or you could save for a holidays some where nice.marijuana is not cheap anymore.if you could buy it for 20 bucks a day which is sometimes are not enough if a mate hang around with you and its getting a free smoke of you.then it will cost you a fortune in a year.been there for 15 years and when im going to add all i have spent on dope i could have a brand new luxury car by now.in the end i just gave up and free of that ****.now im healthy and have a good life,

Smoke is smoke. Smoke is bad, regardless where it's from. Cigarettes, marijuana, burning tires or a forest fire. The smoke just infiltrated your lungs, and the clearing of the throat is the biological process of removing all the gunk that has built up in your lungs.

You have the strength to believe in yourself and to change your thought and behavior pattern.

Revisit why you started in the first place. Was it because you were influenced, encouraged by your friends and you wanted to please them, so you went along with it. You followed instead of lead.. or was it because you were simply curious what all the fuss was about, decided to try it, and found that perhaps you liked it and have now decided that you don't like it as much as you thought or perhaps you have let it control you, instead of you controlling it...

If it's because of you friends, are you now strong enough to say hey if you respect me as your friend you will understand that I choose not to smoke Marijuana any longer. If they are your true friends, they will respect your decision and not try to influence you to continue to smoke it. If they don't understand, then it might be time for you to find new friends.

If it's because you were curious, then you need to decide that its a novelty and no longer interests you. Set your mind on something else, a goal more important then the feeling you get when high. You take back control over your life. That is the one thing people can't take away from us, is control over our choices. We give it way - for all sorts of nonsensical reasons.

Stay true to your convictions.

first of all weed is not a drug, just because the FDA does not approve its use doesnt make it such a dirty habit...cigarettes are not FDA approved and those cause more harm to someone than weed does....just stop and entertain yourself with something else keep candy around so when you get the urge to smoke eat some candy or chew a toothpick put something in your mouth...ofcourse this is if you stop cold turkey.....and for the idiots you cant go to rehab for smoking weed any doctor will tell you that, unless you cause harm to yourself or others when BAKED!!. other than that just stop cold turkey and keep some candy, toothpicks, or whatever it may be you have around..

Why would you want to quit smoking marijuana? Wait, what was the question? Oh yeah, what's for lunch? I'm getting some beef jerky, a couple of large pizzas, some chocolate ice cream, graham crackers, grape jelly, BBQ chips, apples, fruit roll ups, Twinkies, roast beef, Caesar salad, and some pretzels. Who are you? Did you ask me a question?

Are you people freakin serious??? I cant believe how ignorant people really are in this world!! You dont need rehab to stop smoking weed!!!! You just have to stop. Usually you smoke weed with certain people...stop hanging out with those people and go do something else. You arent going to go nuts, have withdrawls, or get your head shaved, I PROMISE! Weed isnt even that bad, but its not good either. Quitting is a good idea. You really just have to make the decision to do it and stick with it! Good luck!
