The carriers are made for travel purposes not to take into stores,, there are stores designed especially for dogs that sell dog treats and stuff my advice would be to not take him into stores with food and any other ones ask the manager I hope this helps tell ur chihuahua i say hi!!! I take mine into the mall with me he is 1 year old named Burrito and is up for stud!!

Nope. Especially if you're going to a grocery store. Unless the store allows dogs to go in with you, you can't bring them inside. The reason why they make the little cute designer like carriers so you can look good outdoors with your pet but it doesn't mean they are purses.
Please don't use the muzzle on your little dog just because you don't want him barking. If your dog likes to bark, you just have to live with that. They are dogs and they are supposed to bark. You probably wouldn't like it if someone put a tape on your mouth to keep you from talking.

I don't know what the actual laws are regarding pets in stores. I am sure it is unlawful in food stores/restaurants.
However, I am one of those people guilty of taking my chihuahua in stores (in a carrier without a muzzle) over the years and have never been asked to leave. Especially, at times when I can not leave her in the car due to the extreme cold/heat. Most of time, she has attracted positive attention.

Stop! Really. Why would you muzzle the little guy?
If he is barking,he is not happy in the "cute little carrier"
No matter what you have him in,if there are not pets allowed, there are NO PETS ALLOWED.Sorry. Petsmart,Petco and some little doggy shops will let you bring your little man in the store.

In most states in is unlawful to bring animals into stores unless they are service certified.
After 20 years in retail management I can define the reasons. It is a health code, this prevents dogs from urinating and/or dumping in the store. It is also a safety code to prevent dogs from attacking or biting other customers. You have to remember that some people are afraid of dogs, and dogs can tell that they are afraid. In a case like this dogs will attack and or bite as self defense.
Pet stores are one place you can bring animals into, but remember more than likely their are other dogs in the store also. Unless you are taking the dog for health reasons, I do not recommend taking your dogs into pet store either. On two defferent occasions I have seen dogs square off and begin to fight. It's not fun jumping in between two fighting dogs and in most cases will result in injuries to the dog owners. Love your dog at home, he can't read labels to help you shop !

No unless the store allows dogs.
Ask the store employee first but dont get upset if they say no.
No they make these carriers for people to think it's ok to bring their dogs anywhere they want to.

No, you're not to any extent further allowed to take your canines right into a save. NO canines means in simple terms that. Small canines are nevertheless canines. in effortless words provider canines are allowed in shops. the female likely snuck the pup in, had the door greeter considered it, she would were advised to depart. I wouldnt be shocked if she became said to a manager and requested to depart both. Its a wellbeing code violation to take a canines right into a save that sells or serves foodstuff. Its no longer the shops problem that its unlawful to depart a canines in a vehicle.. its unlawful for them to allow some thing except provider animals too. if you're planning errands, depart your canines at residing house. shops that do not promote foodstuff.. it really is as a lot because the save proprietor's discretion. I absolutely have taken my canines into video shops, hardware shops, the cellular telephone save, some small clothing shops, or perhaps a house Depot..... I did absolutely observe a "no canines" connect up the residing house depot doors afterwards, yet no longer a unmarried worker said a be conscious to me about the canines.. I made no attempt to cover him both.

You can take your pet to Petco or Petsmart and shop with them, but other stores are required by law not to let domestic animals in unless it is a animal used by the blind. We have lots of fun taking our Cheeks-part chihuahua/pekingnese to Petco or Petsmart.
