Christ coming was foretold in the Old Testament, so that the prophecies would be fulfilled and that the Savior would tie both the Old and New Testament together.....this is why we pray in Christ' name to God...and pray for peace within each of us....I can not show you Christ' Peace....I claim it but every person must ask for it to come into their hearts through Christ, The Lord...if you do so, you will understand the answer to your own question. Sometimes, it comes like a bolt of lightning, other times it is a gradual onset over time....God will know how to bring it to you, according to your needs...

Isaiah 48:15 I, even I, have spoken, yes, I have called him.
I will bring him, and he will succeed in his mission.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me

Luke 2: 36
There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, 37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four.[e] She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. 38 Coming up to them (Mary and Joseph with the baby Jesus)at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

1 John 5:19-21 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life

Colossians 2: 1-3
1I want you to know how much I am struggling for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me personally. 2 My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

I lost my family to a car wreck.
My home to a disaster.
all my Friends or dead,
am in pretty bad chronic pain
But the spirit of God is with me
and I have peace within my soul.
I know without doubt that God,thru his spirit is with me.That my soul is eternal and I realize that the spirit of God is all I truly need.
I praise god every day for his spirit being with me.
and for all his blessings.
If It were not for the spirit I would surely be dead.
I will welcome death when it comes.
I do have peace.
My heart is not troubled. I do not worry.
as I have faith.and I have love.

Praise God.

Peace of the Comforter. The Holy Spirit upon us.

When Christ died on the cross, He satisfied God’s judgment and made it possible for God’s enemies to find peace with Him. Our “reconciliation” to God, then, involves the exercise of His grace and the forgiveness of our sin. The result of Jesus’ sacrifice is that our relation has changed from enmity to friendship. “Henceforth I call you not servants . . . but I have called you friends” (John 15:15). Christian reconciliation is a glorious truth! We were God’s enemies, but are now His friends. We were in a state of condemnation because of our sins, but we are now forgiven. We were at war with God, but now have the peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7). “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).

The peace that surpasses all understanding is "absent from the body, present with the Lord" and death has no sting because we know we belong to Jesus and we will be with Him. We know that no one can take us out of His hand when we are truly His.

didn't Jesus also say he has come to destroy families by making family members hate each other. He has “come not to send peace, but a sword.”
Matthew 10:34
and
“Brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death." Matthew 10:21

Peaceful Jesus!! Come on don't be so blind!!
Kill your God, free your mind.

I don't know, don't care. Anyway, God said this same sort of thing first, so I give all glory directly to him and don't allow any 'mediators' in my worship. I don't pray to saints or to people hung on crosses. I pray to God only as he has commanded us all to do. May God bless you too. Shalome.
