Girlfriend over the phone and the girlfriend I have now overheard it.
She stormed out of the house and said that we were over. I didn't
know she was there or I would have never done it.
I don't think I should be in trouble since I did not actually do anything. I didn't actually meet with the ex or anything.
What should I do since I don't want to break up with my girlfriend?

Well, your GF was smart to leave you like that. You would have done it if you ex agreed. Obviously she is smart as well.
Grow up. And stop cheating or trying to cheat.

Grow up. If your girlfriend means so much to you then why would you proposition your ex??? You most definately SHOULD be in trouble. It's usually not so much the act of sex (although that is definately a huge part of it) that bothers women about cheating. It's that when our guy goes elsewhere, we usually end up questioning what we did wrong. Or "why wasn't I enough for him?" It brings about a lot of feelings of innadequacy in women. We end up feeling like a piece of crap because of some guy that was just thinking with his hormones. It's not right, and it breaks down their self esteem.

If I were your girlfriend I would break up with you no matter what you did next. You DID do something! You TRIED to cheat, which, in my book, is every bit as bad as actually cheating. Why do you want to stay with your girlfriend anyway. You don't love her. You wouldn't have done that if you did.

why would u ask for sex from ur ex wen u already have a new girlfriend... that's disrepectful 2 ur girlfriend whether she heard it herself or not.... u shud have never done that.... u may b able 2 save the relationship, but ur girlfriend will never trust u because she knows that u are capable and willing to cheat.

"I didn't know she was there or I would have never done it." is not a very good explanation in this case. The harm to your present relationship may be irreparable. Women can often rationalize infidelity away, except for when it's thrown right in their face. You've got a lot of apologizing to do if you want to make it up to her.

You were wrong. You did plenty. The only reason you did not consumate the act is because you got caught in the set up. You may not deserve either of them. Apologize and admit you have a problem that you are willing to correct-----if you are.

Don!Don!..u should be getting down on your knees..if u truly don't want to loose her..things happen..and when things happen like this..u have to stand up tall..to get what u really want back.Ask her forgiveness..explain to her nothing happened...express your love to her..that u will not to nothing to hurt your love with her,that she's the only one that make u happy,makes your heart beat faster and slower at the same time..ire..and relax..girls/women love to hear crap like that most especially when u're on your knees...hope that help..chow
