there is a guy in my lyf,,we both love each other.. n wants to get married,, his parents dont hv any probs,, n i hv told my mom abt him...how shud i tell my dad who are against love marriage...dat i love smone.. my luv says dat he cudn't also do anything but i hv to tel my parents first,,as there is no third person who can make our parents meet as friends,,n talk about me and him,, n also my dad is on the highest post in a gurudwara,, i m also scared of his reputation bcoz everyone will talk rubbish abt him but i'll talk to my dad,,, how shud i start my talk?? i hv told my mom...but she said she will not talk on my behalf to dad... Dear girl i have a bf too and i know that its difficult when it comes to telling our parents abt it.
If you think that your dad is against love marriage you are wrong.
Love marriage is where love starts before marriage..and arranged marriage is where love starts after marriage...Love is common here..A relationship can not survive if there is no love...can it?
If your dad is a busy man take some time to do this...sit with him one day...and tell him abt the guy in your life...dont get nervous or shaky...assure him that the man is good.and you both love each other...dont become desperate....give him his phone number...and above all try to gain his trust..tell him his family is financially well off (if they are)
If your dad loves you if will surely agree to the marriage for his daughter's happiness...why dont you think he will?

Why don't you put your boy friend to the test. Ask him to come and ask your father for your hand in marriage. Of course you should back him up fully. This will also give you guys the confidence to tackle all future problems together. I am 90% sure you father will not react the way you are fearing. Even he will be able to recognize a good offer when he sees one.

hi rozi it is a very delicate matter you should deal very carefully. First of all you did not tell anything about the guy whether he is working settled. If his parents accepts you and you belive in them then tell their parents to talk with your mother and father i think you are worried more about reputation then marriage. I f you can not live without him marry him.It is your life you decide but first you ask your mother and father because they are your well wishers.ok good luck god bless you

dont you have relative to help you out? aunt uncle cousin? this is a hard situation in your country.. but you could always do the elopeing thing and go far away and get married and settle down.
