You would receive a W-2 from your employer, and would file a 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ.

No, buying a car to get back and forth to work isn't tax deductible, and wouldn't be if you were a US citizen either.

I do not know the answer to your question. You can look in your phone book and call an accountant in your area for answers. This time of year most local libraries offer free tax help from accountants in the library (check for times at the library). Call the IRS or go on line and ask the IRS your question. No one will know the answer better than an IRS employee. If you worked any during the 2006 year your employer should have already given you your tax forms.

Although I am not an accountant I do not believe the car can be used as a deduction unless you use your car for your job, not just transportation to get to and from your job. But, please ask a professional your questions.

Assuming that you have a TIN for work purposes, you file the same tax return as any other US resident or citizen. Your employer will send you a Form W2 listing your wages and taxes withheld.

There is no deduction for a personal auto for personal use, for you or anyone else.
