How Long before i get my passport?

I applied for a passport about two days ago and i did not rush it. How long will it be before i recieve it in the mail?

I applied 2 weeks ago. they told me 6 to 8 weeks.

Depends which passport office you have sent it to. Also is this your first passport?

I applied for a renewal in 05 and it took 5 weeks...........
