It might, but people are often quick to dismiss these things as being attacks of the devil (sweeping things under the rug).
And here is another thing that happened to Southern Baptists this week. An anti-gay preacher who was a member of the Southern Baptist Executive Committee found himself in court, because he tried to hire an undercover police officer for gay sex! The hypocrisy is astounding, how they can get up there and preach and condemn everybody else and then do whatever they want.

Probably, but not too much. It would also lead to a temporary drop in collections in the affected congregations.
Baptists should note the fiasco in the Roman Catholic church where bishops protected the offenders rather than minister to the offended. They regarded child abuse as a sin, but ignored the fact that it is also a crime.
Jesus said, "It would be better that he had a millstone hung around his neck and he be cast into the sea rather than offend any of my children"

Doubtful. Are you trying to create a rift by making an accusation or asking out of genuine concern? Overall, I doubt there will be a membership drop due to that, although I suspect the church impacted by the accusation would see a temporary decline.
Tread carefully. Do not bear false witness.
Here's the reality: people sin (and I'm not excusing that). I sin. It's not graded on a curve. God already said in His Word that His judgement will be harsh and swift on those who harm children. He did not tell us to try to destroy His church because of it.

a It does not matter about the denomination, all will be adversely affected. Those who have done such abominable things have exposed in the worst possible way, the hypocrisy of religion. None who have done such are Christian but they will irreparable tarnish the church. Jesus said that "It would have been better if they had been killed as children, than to grow up and hurt a child this way."

I do not think it will. As far as I know the Catholic Church is still going strong dispite all the priests accused of child molestation.
All it proves is Satin is alive and well within our churches and people better open thier eyes and start following Jesus.
