They've already answered your question. I'll just mention that Target and Walmart both have digital recorders that are pocket sized for 39.99 or less. They get the job done, no frills.

Digital recorder? They come with a usb cable and some are also portable flash drives. I LOVE mine. They can cost anywhere from 30.00 up to hundreds. It all depends on what you want. I have two 60.00 ones and they both work great.

i saw some in argos.. around 100euro for a 1 gig one i think
