Sounds like a little bigger than a parakeet. Possibly a conure. Next time, though, make sure the link works.

If only about 6 inches high, that would suggest a pacific parrotlet. Have a look on the internet. They come in many different colour forms. Green is the natural colour and cocks have blue splashes on their wings and face.

i would say its a amazon check out a parrot book from a library and try to compare pictures to see if you can do a match

Sounds like a conour. Birds are full grow when the have all there feathers so by its size that is what i feel. does it look like this
