My friend's dog just had puppies almost two months ago. The runt seems to shake a lot in her sleep.?

Is this bad? What could be causing it? Should my friend seek treatment for the puppy?

All pups twitch in their sleep! If this pups shakes as you call it I'd check to make sure all the pups are being kept in a warm place and if this one pups is warm enough when sleeping. If this pups seems like it is in distress when awake then it sould be taken to the vets for a check up.

Sounds like the dog is dreaming if you can stop the shaking by waking the pup.
