ok theres this guy named connor. i liked him. and he kept flirting and acting like he liked me 2. i asked him out about a year ago. he said no. so we play this game called runescape. i told him at school 2 get on so i could ask him sumthin. he said ok. so we got on and hes like what did u wanna ask me? and im like nvm. then outta nowhere he says i love u. i said that i was gonna ask u if u liked me. he said that he didnt want a gf now. so my question is should i ask him out or should i start out small and ask y he doesnt want a gf? p.s. hes my best friend. and i really do love him and i think he loves me 2. should i ask him out? or not? thx ppl u guys and gals r awsome!

The guy is smart for not wanting a gf now. You are both too young. School should be your top priority. bf/gf stuff can wait. Just enjoy being friends.

This is tough b/c you don't want to mess up that bestfriend thing now do you?.... but okay here's what i would do. I would start out small and see why he doesn't want a girlfriend. Then i would just say okay and go on about my buisness. I wouldn't ask him out just b/c he's already told you he doesn't want a girlfriend. But i'd keep things the way they are. I'd also slowly move to the dating stage without actually asking if that makes sense. Ask him to go to a movie with you. Spend more time with him ... things like that.. I'd do this for a couple months then ask him how he felt again.If he still felt the same way. I'd just say okay and then look elsewhere until he's ready.... *smiles* hope it helps

Honey it sounds like he is being nice and trying to tell u he doesn't want u as a gf right now. If he is your bestfriend then he probably loves u like a friend does.You shouldn't mess with this relationship. If u push him to far u might lose him as your best friend too. ummmm.... i would just take it slow, respect what he wants. Dont push it, you could scare him off if you do. He know that you like him, i would wait for him to ask you! Then you know he is ready. Or you could wright him a little note letting him know how you feel, and tell him when he is ready not to forget about you, cause you will be waiting. and WHATEVER you do, do not hook up with someone else While, waiting on Conner.

I'd ask him Qs about why he doesn't want a gf frist. Then ask him out. Make sure he's the Bf type 4 U. Not just the BFF type.

I have one sentence that does it every time because it is open to different interpretation but it is nice nonetheless: I wanna be with you.. ( and you think but not say: today, tomorrow, for an hour... Have a coffee, for the rest of my life...) but the reaction to the unspecified time usually gives you a clue to either continue or hold it right there...

i wouldnt do it because he already came out and said he wasnt interested in a gf. you are setting yourself up for hurt. stay friends and see what happens. the best thing you can do is be a best friend to him, sometimes best friends become more.

sounds like he has some apprehension...about committing into a relationship.

however, you cant go on thinking about it .....think about how much time in a day you think about this......is it time to find out your answer yet?

if you feel like you have waited long enough....tell him how you feel...prepare youself for the bad, but you will at least brings things out into the open...
