So, this guy likes me and not because of my looks. He likes me because I'm really nice to him and always make his day. And what he told me was really flattering but I like this other guy and the first person knows I like that person but doesn't know exactly who it is. I told him that I like him too just to make him feel special because I hate broken hearts. I told him i'm not allowed to have a boyfriend(i actually cant) but we can be REALLY close friends (that was a BIG mistake) Now I regret what I did, I really dont want to get so invovled and he's starting to invite me to all these things.. How can I tell him that I'm not ready by not breaking his heart? He really liked me but I just dont want to break his heart. Please help and thanks!

Life is too short my sweet lady. You are right..you must not break his heart, but you already told him you can be his friend...it OK if you tell you friend, you can't see them or you don't want to go to this function and that function....and you can even tell him, you don't want to go out at all. I think its you that is worrying about every move you make that is making you self conscious...he will be OK, you can't choose who you love and you told him, you Don't love him...like a whole new ball game...
I don't see the big issue, do what you want and he will stay your friend, you don't lose friends that easy....

You have to be honest above all. Dishonesty is what got you to this point and the longer you carry this on the harder it will be to back away from the situation without hurting this guy. You should say that you think that you two have different views of what your friendship is. Tell him he's a great guy but not the one for you. Tell him you'll understand if he doesn't want to be friends anymore but you never intended to hurt him in anyway. That should do the trick. Keep this in mind the next time you don't wanna hurt someone's feelings. Telling your friend you like his or her shoes when you don't is a white lie that doesn't come back to bite you. In matters of the heart honesty is the best policy.

Hi there! Well I believe go to lunch with him while your waiting for lunch explain how you feel. Tell him you need your space and your not ready for a serious relationship. Ask him if the two of you could be friends. When he calls you or goes to your home let him know that we're just friends. If he don't understand that well be-careful see if he follows you or goes to your work a lot or follows you after school. If he does let your parents know but tell the truth it is better than not telling them the truth.
