i am wanting to do a supper and i have to pick the appetizer what goes with peaches and cream cheesecake?

two ways of going on this-one would be to continue a peach or fruit theme. the other would be since peaches are sweet to go savory as a balance. a continuation of a fruit theme might be small shrimp and peach, apricot or mango grilled skewers or a fruit salad. savory involves perhaps prusciutto and an italian cheese (i kinda like fresh mozzarella wrapped in prusciutto). just an idea, but i'd look up both options in cook books or online recipe sites.

I'm a bit confused too. I'd go with something spicy with a little heat in it. That'll balance out the cool cheesecake. Maybe a Thai shrimp on skewers?
