I've handled and shot "clone" hi-powers, and I own a 1967 Belgian Browning Hi-Power. There is no comparison. T-series Hi-Power pistols (Serial numbers start with the letter T, approximately 1955 to 1972) are the finest mass-produced handguns ever made, bar none, on this planet.
If you can't find or can't afford Browning, Daly is probably better than any of the others, but trust me, if you can find a T gun, find the money and buy it.

Stephen Camp’s Hi Powers and Handguns site is mandatory viewing for anyone interested in the HP's.. it is linked.

Also I have linked to some posts over at "The High Road" regarding the Daly HP.

DO NOT BUY!!! you will be disapointed. Just save the money and buy the Browning. The difference in craftsmanship is like night and day.

Might I suggest also, 9MM is fun for plinking but if your going to carry concealed (leagly) i would suggest something a little bigger. .45
