Trust me, Girls love it when guys talk to them, or act intrested in them.
No matter how beatuiful, all girls feel flattered (unless you come off as a jerk)
But try to strike up a good conversation, and compliment her.

Interesting question, but i think i covered all the bases.
First, you have to be in the right mindset. Don't make up a bunch of excuses in your head as to why you shouldn't talk to her. The worse that can happen is that she says no.
After that, take a breath before you approach her. When you do, start with an interesting conversation. If you feel like you had a good talk with one another, see if you can get some info such as her number, or e-mail, just some way to get in touch with her.
Next, you should take her someplace fun or interesting to her. Just as long you got the buck for it. Example would be: "My girlfriend loves gardens, and flowers. So for our first date, we went to a bontanical garden, and a walk in the park."
We you think you can handle it, then do what you feel is best.

If u r shy then u shouldn't be focussed on getting the girl. U should be focussed on fixing whatever it is that u don't like about yourself. Once u r fully comfortable with yourself then u won't really have to think about what u need to say ahead of time. U'll be able to say what u want and be fully supportive of it. Why don't u start by just having meaningless conversations with people u see and try to be friendly and voice your opinion.

as the other guy said just be confident and be yourself and I start to like a guy when he jokes around with me and says nice polite things about me and when your talking to her just believe in yourself that you can do it without being nervouse and just talk about everyday stuff and smile alot and when she talks to you look her in the eyes but not more than 3 secounds after that just glance away cause if you just stare at here without looking away it might make her feal a little uncouftable

just get in the habbit of goin up to girls and askin them thier opion on somethin, or a question and try to get into conversation. Once you get into the habbit and get used to it, you won't get nervous. But you will be at first, just keep doin it and it will go away.
