I recommend Japanese. You may find it useful in business back in Malaysia. But keep up with your English and Chinese!

I would honestly say French, even though I myself am Korean. French is spoken all over the world in Europe (France, Belgium, Switzerland), the Americas (Canada, Haiti), Africa (ex-colonies), and Asia (Indo-china). So if you're traveling, there's a chance that it'll come in handy either speaking with the natives or other French-speaking tourists. French also has a rich history; if your interested in european history, literature, or philosophy, knowing French will be a GREAT assest. Even in English, many advance vocab words have French roots.

Comparatively, French has MANY, MANY more uses than Japanese or Korean. Japanese and Korean both are very good for business, but other uses are fairly limited. Korea and Japan both have rich culture (Japan's is bit more prevelent).

Knowing Chinese (if I'm assuming correctly), might give you a head start in learning Korean and Japanese especially (Hanja and Kanji, respectively, aka Hanxi) if you do so, but not by much. What's the use in knowing a meaning and not being able to say it?

Here's a tidbit of info, if you decided not to take French, to push you towards Korean. ^^ Korea pop-culture (K-pop) is becoming increasingly popular all over the world. Knowing Korean might help you enjoy dramas and such more.

Well, Japanese would be useful in a business sense if you went back and lived in Asia. If you were ever planning on coming back to Europe, after you return to Asia in 2 years, French might be more helpful since it is spoken a lot in western Europe and a lot of government / political things. Korean is a very cool language too! My friend speaks Korean and South Korea is very nice. But, pick which one you think you will like / benefit from the most! Good luck!

since u are a malaysian-chinese (born), im sure u know how to read/write chinese characters, in this way, japanese language is the perfect second language u need to learn as japanese kanji characters mostly originate from china. it'll be easy for u to understand as they have similarities in the writings.
anyway, this is only my opinion for u. but before doing so, u have to be sure of urself which is the most important thing to learn first that u can benefit for u own good & in the future esp if u want to put up ur own business. more power to u.

Take japanese. There are many japan people travelling as tourists and u can always find somebody to practise, if you never go to Japan. Also its so much different from any other indo-european language that it must be worth of your effort. If you learn japanese, it shouldn't be too difficult to learn korean or chinese later

Japanese is the new language of business. French for arts. Other than Koreans and a few GI's, I don't know anyone who uses Korean.
