Limewire is FULLY LOADED with all kinds of nasty little bugs, trojans and other malware. When I had it for a very short time, it left all sorts of creatures behind lagging in my hard drive. My advice, don't use limewire at all. If you are looking for music I would use iMesh, it doesn't put all that stuff into your pc and it's pretty fast. The interface is very user friendly and you can even burn from right there on the program.

Installing Limewire took hardly any time, definitely not hours, on my PC, Celeron processor based and with Win XP.

I suggest you uninstall Limewire, get your hard disk defragmented and checked for virus and then reinstall the Limewire. Hope that solves the problem. Best of luck!!

first of all ripping off a action picture is preaty vulnerable and 2d it certainly relies upon on 2 issues you pc and your internet connection. So in case you have cable its quickly and could acquire in some hours. in case you have DSL it is going to take longer everywhere from 4 to 10 hours(now and returned extra). in case you have dial up dont even hassle. not in basic terms that yet another subject to contemplate is the quantity of those that have it obtainable (materials) and how many anybody is downloading it. The extra those that have it swifter the less those that prefer it swifter. and neither is the case in basic terms pass out and watch the action picture its well worth your 8 or 10 dollars.

depends on how you are connected to the internet and condition of your computer
if you're on dial up connection - you can expect the download(s) to be slow
and especially if your computer is a much older model with many miles on it (so to speak)
and it may also depend on the "traffic" - meaning how many other people were downloading at the same time
if you notice your download is slow - cancel out of it and retry

once you get it installed and set up - make sure you keep your antivirus program updated on a regular basis
and always scan the files you download with your A/V program for viruses
