me and my boyfreind have been together for about 4 months but we have wanted to be together for about 31/2 years we have been room mates, lovers, and now we have finally got together but everytime i turn around i catch myself not trusting him he has alot of freinds that are girls and they call alot and that makes me wonder but then again i have guy freinds and he says it doesnt bother him he tells me all the time im the one he wants and how much i mean to him and that im so beautiful and stuff like that but for some odd reason i cant except that he wants me maybe its because im not the type of girl he usually dates and when i ask him that he just says that are opposites attract so guys what do you think about the stuff that i have told you do you think i should trust him even if he does have alot of freinds that are girls oh and one of the text messages that one of the girls sent him said you dont care about me thats why you make excuses why you have a girl freind what should i think?

If you don't keep your trust issues in check, it will be the downfall of your relationship. You have to remind yourself that he chose you! Not another girl. Don't sabotage a good thing. Look back and try to figure out what makes you so jealous and untrusting. On top of it, maybe you should sit down and talk to him about it. Don't tell him you don't trust him. Tell him you have having some jealousy issues and it's concerning you and would like his help to get over it. See if he can come up with a solution.

You have to learn to be a little more concise in your verbalizing and writing. If you want certain things from anyone...not just b-friends, you have to learn not to let your emotions drive you so much. Tell him EXACTLY what your rules are in a relationship...no matter how petty...and be a mature person.
